Church Camp Cum Taiwan Trip!!

Ended my church camp and the 1st thing we did was to head out to the dessert stall next to Xin Dian Church.
The ice jelly with opium balls tasted damn good!!

This is a Mixed combination of everything!!

We headed out to Wulai after that and the first food we found there was this.
A mua chee thing but it was barbequed.
Eating one with sesame seasoning.

Eating the next one with cheese.
Sesame tasted better. AHAHHAHAHA.

Then i saw the thing that i loved the most.
Wild boar sausage!! damn owning shit..

Sometimes you just have to shout and exclaim how good the sausage is.
I ate another 3 sticks after the previous stick. LOL

We were going to the hot springs in Wu Lai.
There were tonnes of people who wanted to do the same!!

Ok. Those things on the stick was even better.
It was wildboar meat wrapped with golden needle mushrooms then bbq-ed.
super delicious.
btw the other 2 pple in the picture is qi-en and qi-xian.
Poor qi-xian had to sleep with me in the same hotel room thru out the entire trip and also take the same flight with me back to singapore.

We saw some guys swinging with a rope over the river.
The waters were damn inviting.

The bamboo rice was good. Wild boar meat was good too.
But my mum ordered damn alot of vegetables.
scared the shit out of everyone. LOL
all of them see the vegetables until scared.

Everyone left Wu lai on cabs.
but the youngsters, meaning me and a few other people decided it would be more economical to take a bus and train.
anyway the cab down from wulai to our hotel was $40 sing dollars which was exorbitant compared to just $3 sing dollars taking bus and train.

We woke up the next day all prepared to go to Liu Fu Chun.
It was a damn famous themepark.
and the rides are so scary that it will make you shit your pants.

On the train ride to gong guan to take the liu fu chun shuttle bus.

Yeahhhhh we found the place to wait for the shuttle bus to come.
but turns out that the bus ride there needed 1 and half hours.
so even if we went there we would reach only ard 3plus pm and the themepark closed at 5pm.
I was damn disappointed but life has to go on and we went to shop at gong guan!!

We found a dessert stall that sold the famous mango ice dessert.

I had to eat more dessert to soothe my anger.
The weather was damn hot and i was still upset that we missed the themepark because the girls woke up too late and wasted too much time on changing.

It was good!

We had dinner at some Jap restaurant that sold fried stuff.
It was damn good.

Went to shilin night market after dinner and we had more food.
I played some games and i scored 10 for 10.
Won a big prize!!

And the next day we headed down to Jiu Fen!!
it was a place in the mountains and it used to be place where people mined for Gold.
now they just open stalls and earn tourists money.
but they still have some damn good food.

i dunno what i was doing.

The heat was getting to us.
So we took a rest in the shade before venturing out into the beach to check out the rocks.

I've decided to embark on a back to fitness regime after watching a documentary about ultra obese people. The amount of fat they have in their body is so much that they have trouble sleeping lying down as their muscles relax while sleeping and the huge amount of fats around their neck puts pressure on the neck such that the larynx is pressed down results in snoring and suffocation. damn scary. the worst is that the massive amount of weight causes the skeleton to deform and makes the victim very much susceptible to heart diseases.

ULTIMATE QUEEFING SUEI

Today was a suei day.
SUEI!! anyway. "Suei"means unlucky in hokkien for those angmoh people who do not know what it means.
Let me explain how SUEI i was.
First, this morning when i woke up, i was late. so i rushed through everything. luckily my parents sent me to the mrt so it wasn't that bad. while i on the train i was just dozing off like always and out of the corner of my eye i saw that quite a few ladies were looking at me. I tot that i was looking good (quite impossible as my shirt was damn uncle and my hair was like shit) but i just didn't care much about it. So i changed from the red line to purple line at Dhoby Ghaut station to go to harbour front. yeah my office is at harbourfront. Then, i saw in the bloody mirror that i had my fly unzipped?!!!! OMFG. i stood through Yio Chu Kang to Dhoby Ghaut with my freaking underwear showing to all the people sitting infront of me!! can you imagine i was there standing and swaggering ard thinking i looked good while flashing my open fly to everyone. DAMN COCK la!!

BUT thats not the worse. The worse happened when i was heading home after work. On the train home, the freaking train broke down with some stupid malfunction!! some more its on the track when the next stop is the station i was going to get down?? WHERE GOT SO FARKING SUEI ONE??!! wahlan eh... in the end i waited in the bloody train for 1 freaking hour before it managed to inch it way back into the mrt station.

Sooooo... today is just damn unlucky.. oh yah.. today is 13th of May. maybe thats why. ROFL.

absence

I was away over the weekend.
Missed lots of activities. GL outing. Disney outing.
Just wanna say a big sorry.

Actually the reason for my absence was the fact that my grammy in Malaysia passed away.
It was quite saddening as she was a sweet old woman who always smiled when we visited her.
She suffered from dementia for the past few years, thus repeating answers to her questions was a norm. but everyone still did it patiently.
I could see everyone in my family loved her. especially my dad, a man of steel, who teared during her funeral.
The whole wake was a 5 day affair and it was tiring. I had to stay up for 3 nights consecutively doing what the old people call "shou ye" which means guarding the night.
Since my grammy's coffin was placed in the living room of my grandpa house. So the grandchildren had to stay up the whole night to ensure nobody steals from the house as the door couldn't be locked.
Things will not be the same without her. i will miss calling "ah ma" whenever i go back to penang.
May her soul rest in peace.

Easter was good!! hahaha
ok. it was not that good. but i had a good dinner.

Guitar boy

Wow. its really long since i last blogged. hahaha
i guess ever since i took down my tag board i've been quite lazy to update my blog as i am not sure if people are reading. hahahaha
but nevertheless i shall blog as and when i feel like it!!
its Valentine's day today!! all the best to all the couples out there!!

I just bought my 1st guitar in my entire life yesterday. I've always wanted to learn but i've procrastinated so long until yesterday. I guess it really took me 10 years before setting myself down to learn the guitar. LOL
Its really damn hard and pressing the strings are giving me sore fingers. :(
i wonder how long i will need to take before i can play like the professionals or maybe i just totally dun have the ability to play. hahaha. then my beautiful Maestro guitar will just be a decoration on my wall.

lazy to take pictures now. but when i feel like it i will post up some pictures of my guitar!
hahaha as for now i will need to go bug jasper or adam to give me guitar lessons FOC! hahahahahahahahaha.

Last Minute

Performed at Canteen A this thursday for Sports Expose. I think i sang quite cui. hahahahaha.
really have to improve my singing or should i say control my voice.
anyway tuesday have to show my boss my wonderful interactive worksheet that he told me create for Claims in Customer Feedback. Its wonderful done but pathetically working. something is wrong with the macros and i just couldn't figure out whats wrong with my programming formula.
i am so screwed.. :(
can't wait to get my pay and buy my 1st ever guitar. lol. abit late to start learning but better late than never!! hahahaha i hope my enthusiasm last me through all the practicing until i can perform!

Clearly depressed

After 3 weeks at work, i can only come to 1 conclusion and that is: I am CUI!
I wonder if it is because i do not put enough effort or i am just plain stupid or i just do not understand what my boss wants me to do. Maybe i just do not see the purpose in him wanting me to create that bloody form with freaking microsoft excel. Maybe you don't even have to do a stupid form when you are just creating extra work. WTF WTF!!
I always thought since my studies are not that good, i will be better at hands on stuff. Turns out I am proven wrong. again. and again. seriously i need to buck up.
I really need to pay someone with damn good programming skills to create those godamn macros or else my ass is really toasted.
$1200 is really hard money man. :(

Going to be singing for Sports Exposé soon. On Jan 14th and 15th.

Exams Results Are Out!

The day I stood still

I spent a fruitful day alone today. lol.

Anyway it was a busy day and i had lots to do.

In the morning i went to TTSH for my follow up appointment.
turns out to be bad news as the doctor told me i tore my ACL.
ACL means Anterior Cruciate Ligament.
seems like i need to do a MRI scan plus ligament reconstruction inorder to fully recover.
thinking about it just scares me and the costs of the operation is crazy!
:(((((
have to take care and choose the sports i play carefully from now on.
no more hand ball for me!!! lol

Anyway after the appointment i went to bishan and decided to watch a movie alone for the 1st time!!! The show was called Ip Man, it starred Donnie Yuen.

The action scenes were really damn good.
A great movie to watch if you are a fan of martial arts movies.
Watching a movie alone was really not bad and felt no difference from watching with friends. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
but during the show i was sitting next to a group of fucking rowdy indians.
I seriously hate them. they were constantly giving their opinions about the shows and asking questions out loud. Its as though they thought they were watching tv at home.

After the movie i then went to get new contacts and spectacles
from my mum's friends shop at bishan.

Work at Exxon

anyway. i have started my internship at Exxon since monday and this is the fourth day already. its really quite depressing as my upperstudy is quite zai so there are alot of stuff to learn from him. Apparently i also need to be damn good at my MS excel and i even need to know stuff like macros and how to write macros. fucking sian. somehow i get the feeling that my supervisor thinks that i am inadequate for the job. sucks to the max. the feeling that you are being looked down upon before u can even rise up to the challenge is disgusting. but nevermind. i shall just fulfill my responsibility and enjoy my $1200 allowance every month.

things are going to get very boring from here onwards i think.
working everyday. 8-5pm. really no life sia.
cannot imagine if i have to work the rest of my life after i graduate.

I wanted to watch the band play but i was late. :(

i heard they played quite well. lol
must be me helping them to practice thats why they so zai.
cannot believe yafen play the bass 10 days den she went to perform.
and she has just too much money to spend.. damn crazy..

recently its been a week of nua-ing and going to jam at the studio and nua-ing and fixing my dad's car and nua-ing and packing my room.
cannot believe how much yafen spent on her bass guitar plus amp and her accessories!! its really damn good to have money and can spend like nobody business!! hahahahahahaha. damn jealous of her.

And tomorrow i will be going down to penang to celebrate my grandfather's birthday. driving 10 hours along the north south highway will be tiring.

After that i will be having the long awaited GL outing at Sentosa. i hope there will be a good turn out.

IA will be starting soon. my upperstudy called me to warn me of the ardous tasks ahead of me. I am shuddering just thinking of what awaits me at Exxon Mobil HQ. scary shit. Must keep thinking $1200 to motivate myself.

EXAMS ARE OVer!!!

its beeen a damnnn long time since i last blogged as i was bogged down by exams.
so now exams are over and i am free to ramble again.
just some updates.
had some misunderstandings with people but i think its over liao.
exams are over and i am starting my IA on 15th December at Exxon Mobil. I am very excited and looking forward to working there. i hope it will be a good experience! hehehehe :))) pay is the best!
anyway. i will be going to malaysia soon to visit my grandparents. my grandmother is not feeling too well so i guess my dad wants to see her more often. :(((
my grandmother is very old. 80+ years old. she has osteoporosis that makes her back all bent and twisted. very poor thing. i think we should all drink milk to make our bones strong if not when we become old we will have crooked twisted backs. :((((
the 1st official GL outing will be on 11th Dec!! looking forward to it! i hope all the GLs will try to come and mingle and get to know each other better afterall we will be working together for 7 days during sports camp. HAHAHAHAHAHA

And i just watched HANA KIMI. damn nice!! and the actress Horikita Maki is damn cute!! LOL.
but i still dun understand why Marianne say the oguri shun is good looking. i think he only so-so. hahahahahaha. Anyway go catch on crunchyroll or something. Highly recommended!!
